The Sealed File

A sealed file is opened only by the person it was written for. Here is how we treat yours.

What the registry holds

  • Email, a hashed password, your register name, birth date, gender, and whatever you add to your slip.
  • Your cases, with the notes an agent keeps to recall you.
  • Cookies: a session cookie plus a second noting the clearance check you passed.
  • For payments we log a sum and a transfer reference; never a bank card.
  • Server logs, kept briefly for security.

What it is used for

All of this keeps three things going: the chat, the code and the lock on the drawers. A software service of ours, or a single contracted provider, processes your messages; automated screens scan them for safety. Your cases are not sold, and advertisers see nothing.

Counting visitors

A plain counter tells us how many people came and by which road. It cannot see inside a case.

Your controls

In the chat's menu you can edit an agent's notes about you, keep a transcript, or burn the case. To close the account entirely, send a note from your enrolment address to the footer mailbox; the whole file goes. If your country's law grants you more than this, tell us and we comply.
